The Beginning
A few years ago, I joined a chama with four of my closest friends from highschool. We were excited about the prospect of pooling our resources and supporting each other financially. Little did I know, this decision would lead me on an unexpected journey.
At first, we managed everything with spreadsheets and cash transactions. It was simple, but as our chama grew, so did the challenges.
The Challenges
Tracking contributions and managing diverse investments became increasingly time-consuming. Handling loans was complex, and ensuring transparency was a constant challenge. I knew there had to be a better way.
That's when the idea struck - why not create a solution myself? With my background in software development and the firsthand experience of running a chama, I had the perfect combination of skills and insights.
